How medical professionals opt in to receive patient alert notifications through the Active SOS platform.
Active SOS is a closed, B2B physician alert notification platform. It is not a consumer marketing service. The platform enables patients to send health alert notifications through the Active SOS mobile app, which are then forwarded as SMS messages to the registered physician or designated on-call staff at the patient's medical practice.
All SMS message recipients are:
No consumer marketing, promotional, or solicitation messages are sent through this program. All messages are operational patient alert notifications.
Consent is collected during practice onboarding in the Active SOS Provider Portal. Each physician or staff member who will receive patient alert SMS messages must individually complete this step. The consent checkbox is unchecked by default and is presented separately from the Terms of Service and account creation requirements.

Active SOS does not sell, rent, share, or transfer mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile numbers collected during onboarding are used solely to deliver operational patient alert notifications.
