NEW: Active SOS Protect for Schools — Anonymous Reporting Portal | SFTS Partnership: Stop Bullying →
×
Kids don't report bullying because they're afraid. We fixed that. Active SOS Protect gives students a discreet, anonymous, timestamped way to speak up — and gives schools the real-time data they need to act.
We can help you get the entire solution funded for your school.
The Root Cause
It's that kids have no safe way to report it — and by the time someone hears about it, the moment has passed.
Students who witness or experience bullying stay silent because speaking up publicly means becoming the next target. The risk is real — and kids know it.
Telling a teacher means being seen. Calling a hotline means making a call in public. There is no safe, discreet, in-the-moment way to report — until now.
By the time a report reaches an administrator through traditional channels, the incident is hours or days old. No timestamp. No location. No pattern. No action.
Active SOS Protect
The same technology that gets critical information to the right people in seconds during a crisis works identically for a student being bullied in the hallway, at the bus stop, or online at 11pm.
A student texts discreetly from their phone. The school receives it immediately — timestamped, location-tagged, and logged in a secure portal alongside every other report. Counselors see patterns. Administrators act fast. And when the whole community knows reports will be taken seriously — bullying happens less.
From their phone, anonymously if needed. No courage required in public. No fear of being seen reporting.
Timestamped and location-tagged, delivered to a secure school portal in real time. No report gets lost.
Counselors see repeat issues. Administrators can identify hotspots and intervene before situations escalate.
When students know reporting works and is safe, silence stops protecting bullies. The whole school gets safer.
Active SOS Protect Features
Designed for active shooter response. Customized for bullying prevention and cyberbullying reporting.
Students can report bullying incidents without revealing their identity. Removes the #1 barrier to reporting: fear of retaliation.
Every report arrives with exact time and location data. Gives administrators the accountability and evidence needed to act — and document.
Multiple reports accumulate in a secure school portal. Counselors and administrators see patterns — repeat locations, repeat incidents, repeat names.
Customized specifically for online incidents. Students can report cyberbullying that happens outside school hours — because bullying doesn't stop at the bell.
Designated staff receive instant notifications when a report comes in — not an email digest tomorrow morning. Faster awareness means faster response.
The same platform that handles bullying reports is fully capable of active threat response — one tool for all school safety needs.
Our Partner
Stand for the Silent is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit founded in 2010 by a group of Oklahoma City high school students, deeply moved by the story of Kirk and Laura Smalley, whose 11-year-old son Ty took his own life after being bullied for two years.
Kirk and Laura turned their grief into a national movement. Since 2010, they have visited schools across the country delivering presentations that break through to students in ways few programs ever do. The message is simple and profound: I Am Somebody.
Stand for the Silent brings the awareness, the emotional impact, and the community. Active SOS brings the technology that makes reporting safe, fast, and effective. Together, we address every layer of the bullying problem.

Active SOS configures the platform for your school — anonymous reporting, staff alerts, dashboard access. Students and staff are trained and ready fast.
Budget shouldn't be the reason your school doesn't have this. We work with you to identify grants, district funding, and partner resources to cover the cost.
Bullying thrives because reporting it is hard, slow, and risky for the kids who witness it. Active SOS Protect changes that — and we will help you implement it and help you get it funded. There is no reason to wait.
Beyond the School Walls
We've customized the Active SOS Protect platform specifically to handle cyberbullying — because the nature of online harassment is different from in-school incidents and requires a different approach.
Students can report online harassment they've experienced or witnessed at any time — from home, from their phone, from wherever it's happening. Reports flow into the same secure school portal with the same timestamp and documentation.
When schools can see online and in-person incidents in the same system, they finally have the full picture — and can respond to both.
From Stand for the Silent
The following is a preview of how Stand for the Silent is introducing Active SOS Protect to the schools and families they serve.
They're afraid of retaliation. They don't have a discreet way to speak up. And by the time someone hears about it, the moment has passed.
We found a tool that fixes all three.
Active SOS was built to help students survive active shooter situations. That expertise — instant, anonymous, location-tagged communication — turns out to be exactly what's needed for bullying too. A student texts discreetly. The school gets it immediately, timestamped with a location. Counselors can see patterns. Administrators can act fast. And when kids know reports will be taken seriously — bullying happens less.
We can help implement this in your school. We can help you get it funded.
